There is a 20-question multiple-choice test to assess the knowledge gained from this course. This course is completed through the IEMA assessment portal, a link to which will be made available upon registration of the assessment.

  • Understand the basics of ‘sustainable waste management’, and why it should be considered when managing any waste
  • Understand why segregation of different healthcare wastes is important for proper treatment/disposal
  • Utilise the colour code system to correctly separate healthcare waste
