IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management

With our experience in providing online learning, and the large learning library included within Rio Engage, we are delighted to be working on the development of the IEMA Foundation Certificate programme.

The IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management course has been developed to provide learners with a foundation of environmental and sustainability knowledge to build upon.

The wide range of environmental, sustainability and governance principles covered, ensures that learners appreciate and understand the breadth of the sustainability agenda, and the focus on specific management tools and skills provides learners with an introduction to the practical application that they will need when working within this arena.

The course is directly linked to IEMA Associate membership, IEMA’s entry professional membership level. This membership is a gateway into the profession, providing recognition for the knowledge gained, through the AIEMA suffix and gaining access to the global network of IEMA members.

Online learning

If we've all learnt one thing from 'staying at home' during the COVID-19 pandemic, it certainly will be how our work practices have changed, and that we can do so much online - this too goes for learning.

Online learning is a very flexible and sustainable way to learn and progress your career.

Whilst our IEMA course will not be fully available until post- Summer, we are taking beta enrolments now, at reduced cost, to get a head start with the programme and your route to IEMA membership.
