I come from a corporate background, with my most recent role at a Global Asset Management firm. I have a strong history of organisation, project management and ultimately getting things done!
I am joining Rio as the operations and programme manager where I will be project managing a number of excitingventures, managing the executive office group and ensuring the smooth running of the office.
As I learnt more about Rio through the recruiting process, and what we do, I was excited to become part of a firm that really makes a difference.
I’m most excited about working with people who have immense talent and knowledge in sustainability, ESG and technology. I cannot wait to expand my own knowledge of ESG from such knowledgable individuals.
I love anything with lots of moving parts! My new colleagues have already noticed my attention to detail and I really do just love getting stuck in with whatever is needed.
Rio is a much smaller, intimate company, in comparison to my previous employers. This is great, because it allows everyone to grow, and to show their talents without getting lost in a sea of people.
I’ve been told ‘don’t let others define you’, and that is absolutely true for me. I started work when I was 16, and decided not to go into further education. For some, this may have been limiting, but I have remained dedicated, honest and always worked hard which has allowed me to be in the role I am today.
I love baking, working out and taking part in intense muddy obstacle courses!
